Our Bison roam in the heart of America, the
Nebraska
Sandhills are blanketed by native prairie
on top of the Ogallala Aquifer, a pure underground
water system that feeds countless wetlands, lakes,
rivers, and streams.
It is the most pristine prairie ecosystem
in North America and on its northern edge, the Niobrara
River flows through a deep canyon lined with ponderosa
pines, eastern hardwoods, paper birch, and prairie grasses.
Known as the Biological Crossroads of the Nation, Congress
has designated it as the Niobrara
National Scenic River.
With plentiful pure water and abundant
grass, our land is a perfect match for the buffalo
that once roamed the Great Plains. In the
Niobrara Valley, bison have returned to their
native landscape, as our ranch seeks to satisfy
an increasing demand for delicious steaks,
roasts and hamburgers,
which are better for one’s health and better
for the environment as well.
At Niobrara Valley Bison, our herd
has been carefully managed to provide the best
bison available. You will be proud to serve
our well-trimmed steaks
and roasts, which have
been aged to perfection. Impress your guests
with memorable entrees at formal dinners or scrumptious
burgers at backyard
cookouts. They will appreciate a delicious,
satisfying, and healthy meat that is low in fat,
cholesterol and calories, high in iron and Omega
3 fatty acids. Bison meat is naturally non-allergenic.
Our Bison are naturally raised, meaning
that they are hormone and drug free. All
of our meat is U.S.D.A. Inspected.
Your friends will also appreciate that the bison are raised on our family ranch near Valentine, Nebraska, that helps to preserve the beautiful and unique Niobrara Valley, while restoring a keystone species to the land.
