Thank you for choosing Niobrara Valley Bison. We want to be transparent with you on our pricing structure. There are three components to pricing mail order meats. There is the meat itself, the cooler and the dry ice to keep it frozen, and the cost of shipping. These costs are included in every mail order meat purchase. There are three ways to price these components.

Some companies factor the cooler and dry ice price into the cost of the meat; therefore they have to establish minimum amounts that you must order.

Others include the Cooler and Dry Ice in the shipping cost. This allows for a cheaper meat price up front but substantially higher shipping price.

We separate out the three components. When you order from our shopping cart you see that you will need to buy a Styrofoam cooler. This allows you then to pick out the quantity of our product that you want to buy without a minimum required purchase. We will then add the shipping to the total bill.

The insulated cooler and dry ice provide protection of your product while in shipment. Our insulated cooler is reusable.
