Shipping


When will you ship my Order?
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so that your product can be there before the end of the week. Orders received after 1:00 P.M on Tuesday will be sent the following week. To guarantee delivery we must have a proper and complete address. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or FPO or APO addresses.

Can I get my product delivered on Saturday?
We can ship overnight or have Saturday deliveries to most areas but there is an extra charge for those services. We understand that sometimes unexpected or spur of the moment needs can happen and we are happy to help out.

How much will it cost to ship?
We have a standard rate of $19.95 in the lower 48 states.
Hawaii and Alaska residents should call to get a shipping quote.
We do not ship outside the U.S.

How will I know my order has been shipped?
After your order is shipped an e-mail will be sent to you notifying you of the shipment. There will be a tracking number given to you at that time.

How do you keep my product frozen?
We ship your order with dry ice in a sealed insulated cooler that is designed to keep product frozen. It is important to immediately remove the meat from the cooler and inspect the order, then promptly place the product into your freezer. If the product has edges that have tempered it is still safe to place in the freezer with no loss of shelf life. If the product is thawed completely, place it in the refrigerator and call us for instructions. The number to call is on the instruction page sent with your order.

Can I send my order to a third party?
Niobrara Valley Bison makes a great gift to send to someone. If you are placing the order for someone else to receive, you will need to inform that person to expect the delivery. One thought is to order Gift Certificates for your friends, allowing them to order their personal favorites.

Do I have to be present to sign for the delivery?
No signatures are required for our shipments. This prevents the shipment from being sent back to the terminal and thawing out while waiting to be redelivered the next day.
